The instrument is an interesting motif, but the background is just a bit too distracting for me and the colors seem somewhat off (high ISO, whitebalance?). Maybe a detail of the reflection at the top would have worked better for the challenge?

Very fitting, interesting shot. Maybe you should have gone a bit more wild with the saturation on the painted stuff. But maybe that would have spoiled the rest of the picture, I don't know.
Just looked at it on another monitor - it is much more coloerful on that one. Very nice.
