I enjoyed this collection immensely. For me, this is your most cohesive and compelling photo essay of place. I particularly enjoyed the frost and ice formations blanketing manmade structures. Zugspitze is obviously brutally cold but the natural beauty makes it worth the going.

I found the contrast between your essay and Mariuca̢۪s very interesting. You studied a subject that inspired looking out while Mariuca̢۪s subject encouraged looking in. It̢۪s wonderful to see these differences in subject and style when looking through this months essays.

To me this is one of the few pics on this odd subject that made sense; the masks give anonymity to the ladies in red - yes, they wanted a memento for their girl outing but keep it private.
