Your salmon recipe sounds delish! I do think the photo could be improved with a different plate (background)and better lighting. Another option would be a closer crop.

I don't recognise any black rise and never had such a dish, but overall an attractive image with soft colors and good focus. Not sure if it needs the out-of-focus onion in the frame.

Within standard editing you could have removed the words top left. Those are competing for attention with the woman. I like the concept.
