Indeed...it took about an hour to get there and you better don't get seasick easily...
The way back was even worse due to more wind.. about one and a half hour. We were given kind of wetsuits to cover ourselves from sea foam.
But we were lucky - on Skellig Micheal itself we had sunshine and we were the last boat to depart back to the coast. So we had the wonderful experience to see the island almost deserted from tourists. There are about 10 boats with about 10-12 people landing each day.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you can make the trip. If the sea is too rough they might cancel the tour.

their faces have so much personality .. and their colouring is so unique ..
