Congrats on the spot on exposure. It's tricky with the white feathers. You kept the little subtle details. The composition works too. It's a good shot but only wish it did not have the jagged sharpening effects. Looks as if there was some slight motion blur and you tried to compensate by oversharpening. This might look better in print though :)

I think you have a point about the blurriness of his body. Personally, it doesn't bother me because his face is so striking, but I can imagine a few low votes because of it (some people look for any excuse!).
