Lovely colors here... Warm and red! I think the composition is off and would have been much better framed with the horizon in the top third meaning you would have had to raise the camera a bit and look down more on the foreground subject. As it stands, the horizon is not in the third at all and is just a hair under the mid point of the frame. Reframing to cut out the top part of the sky may have served to get the sky reflected in the wet sands and lose that big blue part leaving a more warm and red color pallet.
