The change in the eyes does have quite an effect. It would be so interesting to know how this change to a small area of the image would affect the overall score.

LOL, Well, sorry, it me from the CC again!

This is another great shot from this series Janine. What I love about this shot is not just the action of the bird that you captured. It's the shape of the feathers amongst the foliage that makes the bird look like a flower, just briiliant!

I know the spirit of the Critique Club is to offer some suggestions on things that could be improved in the image but honestly it's hard to find anything. The only thing that made me wonder is if the blues got pumped up to much in the b/g as it seems to be bleeding onto some of the feathers. But hey, 18th in the free study is nice!
