The first one seems garish and more about bright color than glass. This abstract just doesn't speak to me. (although as you know
that is probably positive for the image).
Just my 2cents. If I were voting I would not give either a good score and lately I try to be very generous with scores
because I think the site needs more positive feedback.

The scene is beautifull and well documented. The only thing I don't like about this is that the sky is purple. It should've been blue or darker so that the purple had more of a punch. Not sure what I think of your crop either. 7

Looks like the back of some reptile(good). Iridescent colors are very nice. Of the two I like this one but just personal preference. They are both well taken.
