Lovely colors... I like the hint of green in the bottom that keeps the entire foreground from being a total silhouette. My first thought was that it looked like the escarpment in Thatcher Park in NY. I'll be back after voting to see where this was taken! :)

Very pretty colors in this. I think though, that between the subject of the tree, the foreground green grass, and the multiple colors in the sky and background, it just is a bit overwhelming to the solitude and peace that you are trying to create. Maybe if this was in black and white? I think it is actually the beauty of the color that is distracting to the sense of zen.
