Spiderby DufusComment by dr rick: An interesting variation from a typical silhouette, showing depth by controlling focus. Getting part of the web to show was probably difficult, and is essential to making this photo work. There are some incidental right angles, but they aren't what gives this image strength. |

Spiderby DufusComment by faidoi: I like that you focused in on the spider and not use a flash. It shows the form of the spider. Beautiful. I can just picture the New York landscape with the spider and the Spiderman 2 title coming out. Great composition. |

Spiderby DufusComment by Fayech: the extreme blur of the buildings are a little strange (hurts my eyes a bit since they take up such a big part of the pic), but i like how they frame the spider. |

Spiderby DufusComment by DBoy: if you bet for contrast in a picture (like yours), make sure these dark colors actually look black. Try to enhance the contrast with some editing. |
