In a pinch...by Jukes55Comment by tootsweet: I'll admit freely that I don't get this at all. I see the safety pin on the strap, but I don't know what the focal point is. I see the martini glass, then the stripes of the mini-blinds, then the shadows of the drink against her dress, then the safety pin. I suppose that the fact that my eye was actually brought into the story in such a fashion is actually a good thing. But the subtly in this one is really obtuse. |

In a pinch...by Jukes55Comment by Blackbox: In a pinch...what? I'm guessing that's a safety pin holing your shoulder strap up. Or maybe a bread tie. Maybe it's not even a dress: maybe it's a garbage bag? Maybe it's not even a girl. But, I get your idea, it's an interesting photo and in my opinion very artistic which I totally respect. Against my better judgment I'm scoring your photo a 10. |

Hopefully, the DNMC Police don't hit you too hard, as the connection doesn't hit you over the head. I love the post processing on this image and I believe you executed your idea about as well as could be done. Good luck with your score. |
