I like the perspective you chose for this. To me it looks like a very heavy handed topaz effect was used, which I'm finding to actually hurt my eyes a bit.

I'm not able to vote on member challenges, but I regularly click through the images and comment on the ones that make me stop and look a little longer. This is one of those images.

Macro photos can be pretty predictably flowers and insect or more likely both. I appreciate subjects you might not expect in this category. This is nicely done... I particularly like the color gradiations. Kudos. Hope it does well.
