Good idea, but the cards (which are the main focus of this picture) are over-exposed to the point of just being blown out. Also, for me the wood table top was a little distracting. I would maybe have liked to seen this on a black background or maybe a green felt poker type table.

Maybe a little too subtle, focusing on the bud, but it is a good shallow DOF. Might be crisper at a lower ISO, though I don't know how much control you have with your camera. (BTW, I think your lower scores are way out of line considering that so many high scoring entries showed limited DOF, but not narrow DOF).

The composition here is quite nice although I'd like to see more depth in the forget-me-nots as the focus seems to have fallen on the purple flower instead. It also looks a little oversaturated.
