That's a nice wildlife shot. I understand about the cropping. Groups of animals spread out like this, and it makes it difficult to get a tight shot on them without leaving out the ones at the sides. The wide pan crop works nicely for this. I am surprised how they stand out in the similar colored grassland. It looks very dry there.

How very odd! I've seen some interesting ducks hanging out with Mallards who look to be some sort of cross between domestic and wild breeds. As if identifying ducks wasn't hard enough sometimes when they're "purebreds"!

What a funny little tuft this duck has, rather like a pom-pom stuck on the back of it's head. Seeing the variety of wildlife from parts of the world I am never likely to visit is one of the things I enjoy aboiut this side challenge.
