That being said, as an artist, this is a good time to translate your thoughts and feelings into images: I am convinced the result would be interesting, and who knows, maybe useful (and not just for you). I love the set up and feel, you have transported us to the studio.

I think you made some wonderful editing choices that reinforce the whole picture, namely, the fact that to the right of the seated gentleman there is focus, and to the right is not in focus. Perhaps it is a blurred vignette, but anyway, it is the correct isolation of the subject as to make the presentation realistic.
