Cannon Beachby ZoomdakComment by kjledoux: Outstanding. The minute I saw this photograph, I knew it was Cannon Beach and I longed for it. I love the way you captured the mist of the water and the colors are brilliant. Nice photograph. |

Sun Break by ZoomdakComment by Dr.Confuser: Absolutely beautiful. I can "see" the wind. I can "feel" the sound of the surf. I can "smell" the light on the water. You have done a fantastic job of appealing to all the senses. (10) |

Sun Break by ZoomdakComment by Momo: Rediculously amazing. The DOF is flawless. The colors are enchanting. The mist is magical. The little dots on the beach look like people, giving the whole scene a sense of majestic proportion. If I could give this picture a 11, I would. This photo is going straight to my favorites list. |

Sun Break by ZoomdakComment by e301: Do i sense the hand of the perilous Neatimage here? it has something of that slightly exaggerated sharpening and loss of detail inother areas that can come from that. That said - wonderful moment, wonderful light, great composition - with the proviso that it feels a touch too centrally balanced: I think framing this with the most important subjects more thoroughly ditricuted around frame would give it a greater sense of stability: for instance, nice as the light in the clouds is, lsoing a little of it would place that largest rock more strongly, and i think the whole image would come together that bit more strongly - and trying it by scrolling to obscure just below that topmost branch seems to back that up. Have you tried that? Otherwise, a very fine shot indeed. 7 |
