Placeby ZoomdakComment by charliebaker: What a view and what a sunrise! The lacework of the foam on the rose colored water makes the shot! "Very early in the morning, while it was still dark..." |

Bikeby ZoomdakComment by Zoomdak: Originally posted by Haneck: How did you do that?? Really neat shot! |
I was photographing my bike in the wet sand, and this wave came up quick. I had a choice to run and save the bike, or photograph it. The bike got soaked. |

Placeby ZoomdakComment by russbbrink: Too much red. Maybe it really was that red, but I doubt it. The water - maybe. Water reflects colors fairly well. The rocks and the sand - no way. Makes the whole photo look fake. |

Beyondby ZoomdakComment by bassbone: Lovely scene - but the mountains could use a little more sharpening and the levels and contrast could be improved a bit |

Winter Streamby ZoomdakComment by jasonlprice: I really wanted to try a shallow dof landscape myself, but never could find an appropriate subject. Yours works better than any of mine did, but it still leaves me wanting to see that mountain! Perhaps if the rocks were a little brighter (but then the sky would be blown)...or if there was 1 main thing to focus on like a leaf or flower....+ 2 for your attemp 7 total. Good luck. |

Alone in a Crowdby ZoomdakComment by silverfoxx: very nice perspective and the use of Dof! really good idea and very nice composition. I like that you turned your camera a bit to create that movement in composition. I also like that there are no drawn "faces" here:) |

Winter Streamby ZoomdakComment by RobMcGee: nice idea, more light could bring out some more contrast, the stones' patterns and would whiten the snow. |
