Binary; The Universal Language by Shutter-For-HireComment by George: I really like this shot, even though it's "yet another one using the through the drop" technique. I always like it when people use a known technique and make it their own. Very nice contrast, and insanely perfect water droplet.
Did you have to meter manually with that lens? I have a D40 and as far as I know, metering is limited to AF-S lenses, and focusing to internal-focus lenses (doesn't have an AF motor?). |

To be honest though, I'm a bit disapointed to see a water drop shot at the top of a language competition. After all, why would water of all things be included in a shot with an ethernet cable. I know its cool but other than that it really doesn't make much sense. Not the first time I've felt like that. We've all got our water shots on this site, at least yours is way better than most. Congrats on the ribbon |
