I really like this shot, even though it's "yet another one using the through the drop" technique. I always like it when people use a known technique and make it their own. Very nice contrast, and insanely perfect water droplet.

Did you have to meter manually with that lens? I have a D40 and as far as I know, metering is limited to AF-S lenses, and focusing to internal-focus lenses (doesn't have an AF motor?).

The way the trailing water line...(above the drop) interacts with the drop to seemingly form a 1 (one) and a 0 (zero) does it for me.
