I understand the concept of this pic, but the printed photo resolution is very bad. The fire isn't showing really well either. I like the idea, the execution just didn't turn out as well as it could have.

I saw this in the forum and I had to stop by and comment because it's such a wonderful shot. To be honest, I cringed when everyone started up loading pictures of their kids in that thread.. sentimenal kid pics are very far from being a personal favorite. However, this shot grabbed my attention and I was very, very impressed. Everything here is captured so well. A wonderful child no doubt, but a wonderful photo to match. = )

I really like the two balls you used, and the lighting is great. But, I think the picture would be even better if didn't contain all of those rocks. To me, they distract from the beautiful balls.

Pretty balls of glass. The textures here are interesting but needs a bit more contrast. The two of interest and color we see the least of. :-(
