The sense of "moment" is present in this image and the obvious character being captured carries some visual impact. Technically, it's a very well composed image which is a plus. From an artistic standpoint, it lacks impact. A worthy entry into the challenge just lacking that something special to make it stand out.

this shot is right there as far as the idea goes, but the execution leaves a bit to be desired. I don't know if the eyes are too bright, or that its because they are out of focus, but I find them distracting--which is a problem since they are the point! Its a trick lighting situation because I'd like more light on the feet, but obviously you don't want light going under the bed... hmmm...

Such a delicate little thing! I don't know what you use to process, but you could try masking off your foreground subject then toning down the background a bit.

this took some time to melt the waxes and color the tips to match...nice colors
