This is very good technically and it would have been rated as an artistic success if the author's reflection wasn't in the glass ball. That single little problem distracts the eye from the overall impact of the image in a negative way. A little more thought and better background (from the author's standpoint) would have made this a top ten image and a potential ribbon winner.

Over all it's a nice shot, the only thing is the green fence on the bottom left hand corner. Maybe a lower angle to hide the fence. JMO!

Such a shame about the wacky reflections in the bubble otherwise this would have been a sure fire 10. As it is an 8 from me and a prediction of a ribbon! (and I havn't even seen half the images yet). First class idea, execution and technicals (apart from those refelctions). Good luck with the rest of the challenge.
