8 Tracks, and LP Vinyl Records those were the old days!by tolovemoonComment by Donatien: I don't like this one very much. The point of view makes it look like a snapshot for ebay.com, it's not in really in focus anywhere, the cropping doesn't help much and the thing that catches your eye to the left, whatever it is with "rock" in it, is reflecting light in an unfortunate way. A below average attempt I think and voted 3. |

Hoping for many more!by tolovemoonComment by dwolff: You seem to have the same problem I do. Take a picture with alot of detail then when you resize it you lose the detail and it looks either out of focus or "too sharp". I have the same camera and am just starting to notice things like that. To attempt to compensate, though not much, I try to get my "picture" a bit smaller in the frame then crop out the extra. This makes the picture smaller and I get less distortion when I change the file size for the web. I liked this picture and gave it an 8. Just kind of thought the cream color of the card clashed with the white of the basket and bride. |

Its all Natural!by tolovemoonComment by Gordon: Certainly a cute subject and you've got in nice and tight. The red eye is really unpleasant though and the lighting could really be improved a whole lot. Looks like you used the on camera flash which takes away any flattering, shaping shadows and doesn't add much back. (e.g., the dark shadow behind the head and so on. Low score. |

Its all Natural!by tolovemoonComment by wingy: The image quality here is rather low, with both blurryness and color blotchyness present.
The flash used also created a number of negative effects. The shadow outlines and the red-eye (even if it has been removed in post-processing) detract greatly from the shot. Try to use a different light source besides the flash and your results will probably improve. |
