Even with that picture, it could have been chopped out. It has a nice background. And its a good photo. |

Turtleby tolovemoonComment by TooCool: When we got my kid's turtle 'Seven' (See Macro III challenge) he was about that size. Now he's WAY bigger! I would have liked to see more turtle and less finger though.

Turtleby tolovemoonComment by adine: Tiny! Lovely details on the stripes. Wish you could have gotten a bit greater DOF. The dark blue background works well out of focus, but I'd like to see more of the turtle clearly. Also maybe cropped a bit less of the turtle and the finger holding it. |

For starters this is overexposed to the point it is very harsh. As for meeting the challenge it does and does so with interest. Nice take on the challenge and an interesting composition. Just watchout for the overexposure. |

Turtleby tolovemoonComment by nephrotic: sorry the fingernail is just too intrusive. I know the finger gives a wonderful sense of scale but the bright white of the nail takes over the focus of the picture |
