"Look ma no hands!"by tolovemoonComment by soccerdad: I would have used a white background and worked to remove the red eye by moving the light source a little to make this en even more fun picture than it already is. |

Brass Instrumentby tolovemoonComment by TooCool: Either this is OOF or your shallow DOF is to shallow for your own good for this challenge. I can't really determine where the focus is. Maybe in an 8x10 format this would work but at this resolution...

Brass Instrumentby tolovemoonComment by fannyb: This was a nice idea. I think the foam is what bothers me in this shot, maybe try another background next time? Nicely done none the less. Good luck! |

Brass Instrumentby tolovemoonComment by jmsetzler: The shallow depth of field worked out in this shot, but the part of the image that is in focus is insignificant in terms of the entire subject. The lighting is also a bit inappropriated to create a visually appealing image. |

Tool!by tolovemoonComment by andywightman: An idea that has been picked up widely by challengers. Look at other entries and see how they manage to do this better. Lighting, texture, focus and framing need more thought here. I get impression this was done in a hurry but given another 30min of experimenting (which digital cameras allow), you could have got a much better shot. |
