I think this might be one of those love/hate images. I think it's pretty cool visually, but the processing does look a bit heavy handed.

B&W tones are very dynamic in this rural shot. I like the horizontal composition for you get the great sweeping sense of isolation in the landscape this 'house' is nestled in. The clouds are dark and moody as if a great power resides in this land. Well done!

There's a lot here I like, and only a couple that I don't. It's a great subject against a really interesting landscape and I think the B&W processing is great.

The things I don't like so much are the positioning of the structure, it's not really centered but it's not really far enough out of centre to make space for the landscape, it's just kind of there. The other is the details in the building are just a little dark and hard to see against all the bright details around it like the sky and grass.

Overall, a nice interesting image which is well processed.
