Old Overshadowed by Newby canyoncatComment by KiwiChris: Wow... Composing images with fisheye's is quite often difficult, you've pulled it off well here, and the reflected light on the older building is neat... 8
It'll be interesting to read you comments after the challenge to see what lens/camera you used as well.. |

Old Overshadowed by Newby canyoncatComment by Bibliophile: Very interesting use of a fish eye lens (or whatever you did to get that effect) I love the way it turned out. It makes a common subject completely unique. Nice job. |

Old Overshadowed by Newby canyoncatComment by ecko313cheer: This is a very nice shot! The title is perfect it tells the viewer exactly what the shot is about.. I really like the way the photo is slightly distorted it gives the image a new look and feel. I love how the new buildings oversee and in a way overpower the old! It gives a person that whole overcrowded sense of feeling. I also like the way it looks like the sun is getting ready to shine through but can't because of the tall buildings. Nice job this shot was taken well and you can tell you put thought into it.. it wasn't just a snapshot! |

Old Overshadowed by Newby canyoncatComment by shavenwalrus: I love the almost claustrophobic feel to this one, where the old building is being crowded by the new. Great fit to the challenge.
Just a bit *too* 'fisheye' for my liking. |

Old Overshadowed by Newby canyoncatComment by Ivo: This is crisp and the use of the fisheye makes it one of the more interesting "building" photos. Even though the use of the fisheye creates a great effect, you have still offset your main subject. Clever or fortunate?? Good luck. |
