I polished. With a toothbrush too :D
Originally it was tarnished all over. I just like the way it looks old & to me it does enhance it (im not an overly shiny person!)

Silver flowerby StarbananaComment by Prism: I think the tarnish adds character and age to the piece. The muted colour of the background works well to enhance the beauty of the silver. |

Again, lighting is excellent. It's difficult to light a bright metal item for a photo. |
