Teachers Anticipationby A WeaverComment by smellyfish1002: Great job, Aubrey!! Excellent photo, and great placement in the challenge! You missed a ribbon by 0.031! Very close... (so close it hurts, I imagine... I got 4th last week) LOL!

Teachers Anticipationby A WeaverComment by undieyatch: One of my favorites..... depicts an overlooked point of view, and beautifully done with b&w. The image is carefully composed, and the reflection of the face in the window is thoughtfully included. |

Teachers Anticipationby A WeaverComment by moodville: An interesting take on the challenge, seeing it from the teacher's angle instead of the student. At first I wasnt too sure about the reflection in the window but it slowly grew on me. There does seem to be a white halo near the ledge and just under her chin that is a little distracting as my eyes are actually drawn to the reflection the most. The choice of black and white is good to set the broody mood of anticipation, or at least it comes across to me that she is not looking forward to being back at school from the lighting, pose, and choice of b&w. Overall it's a good image, I like it. |

Teachers Anticipationby A WeaverComment by kostia: I like this but think it would be better with a slightly different angle. The reflection of her face in the glass is very nice but its impact is lost by the sharp line of the roof outside, so if that were in a different spot in the window (or if she were) the effect would be stronger. |
