Mississippi Riverby PikkelComment by littlegett: This hurts my eyes. The manufactured 'dreamy' effect is completely misplaced in this challenge. The image stopped looking like a photograph and is now looking as a digital illustration or drawing. Im sure this type of processing has its place but for me, here, it is completely misplaced. |

Mississippi Riverby PikkelComment by jent: With this style, and the high contrast between the dense branches and snow, make the photo hard to focus on. The growth almost looks like noise at this size. I am sure this photo looks great in full size, but scaled for DPC it loses a lot of the qualities I would have liked about it. |
