Interesting. Initially I was not particularly interested with this photograph, but I stayed and watched, perhaps because of the wave encased between the two triplets of seagulls.
Coupled with the title, a very melancholic feeling. I can hear the silence, and the relentless murmuring of the sea. Makes me think it won't be the birds, but the sea itself to take over with quiet indifference. Successions and take overs are just human illusions, the sea was there before and it will be there after, indifferent.
