Didn't comment on the challenge, but had this as my favorite, the 9. This result surprised me, as I usually default to wilderness scenes, of which there are several fine ones here. But the movement, the depth, the mosaic complexity and the fabulous cloud-filled sky mesmerized me. It's good to see that an attentive eye can find gold in the seemingly mundane. Under-rated.

so i'm imagining the bike coming out where you are saying its going in .

A fascinating image with lots to delight. I love that the shadows of the railings all pull the viewers eye into the bicycle and only from there to the shadow of the basket and wheel - like a cherry on top of a bun (or perhaps a chocolate chip hidden inside is a better analogy). Really, very good.

it was one that really needed just a little bit more love .

THIS IS BRILLIANT . !! ..
the feeling of ecstasy is so evident in that man's entire demeanor and of course his happy smiling face .. the black and white treatment is perfect ..
i'm hoping this gets a ribbon .. its that good .. totally paradise ..
in some ways giving you a 5 to start with and a 9 now will be like a tiny bit of paradise for you too .. lol .. ;)
