Putting back some detail through a desaturated layer set to multiply might have given you the feeling you wanted with more sense of whatever detail there was here that drew you to shoot this image. |

hydrangeaby browda1Comment by dtremain: Different effect, but you stopped at the flower & leaves. So, you have a nice smooth photographic background and a rather intense filter. To me, the looks clash and are not pleasing.
Even with the texture, the dead leaves are still very visible.
Nice lighting. |
