Screws can make for interesting macros. In this example the lighting is not contributing to the image in that I see no added interest from shadows, additionally I think the WB is off. I say have another crack at the photograph, and maybe use just one washer and screw.

Just missed the face, but I like the subject and detail of the thorax and legs. I think the composition could be strengthened.

Focus is right on the stamens which is crucial to a flower macro. Well done.

Comes off a little soft and grainy to me, I'm afraid. Not sure what to suggest, though. Could be a lighting thing, could be an overall sharpness thing. Could be the result of a severe crop, perhaps?

I like the abstract idea on this shot but i don't like the harsh reflections of light at the glass and i thing it's a little OOF. I like the colors too, maybe you could have explored it better. Good idea, sorry if i was rude, good luck!
