In the beginning of the spring, an almond treeby pasaroComment by Zoomdak: Cool idea, I like the concept of new life from a barren winter. Unfortunatly, I see many things wrong with this shot: 1. The image quality looks very poor: either it has been resized too large, saved too poor, or your camera isn't taking high quality images. 2. I don't see a subject to focus my eyes one. There is no one point in this photo that draws my attention. 3. I think it would be cooler if you just had one bud out of nothing, rather then the full tree, because then it shows the single event rather then a generalization.
Other then that I see potential with this. Keep up your photography, photos like this is exactly how I started. |

In the beginning of the spring, an almond treeby pasaroComment by michael_p: There may well be an actual focus but possibly due to resizing it seems to have lost any apparent crispness on the petals, the shot is very similar throughout and also lacks an overall focal point, great idea but had the above of come in and you had used a little less DOF to focus in on one point and blur the rest of the same things in the image this would be a fantastic shot. Good effort :0) |
