Sea Nettleby KaliComment by SDW: Nice colors but the subject detail is dulled. Possibly by processing. Nice contrast and use of thirds. |

Sea Nettleby KaliComment by posthumous: this is good for a jellyfish shot. the extreme processing has rendered it almost into bright brushstrokes, and the composition leaves a remarkable amount of room around the jellyfish, giving a sense of vast space, perhaps a Universe. It doesn't quite transcend "jellyfish shot", but it is a good example of one. (in case you're wondering, that puts you squarely into my "6" territory) |

Book Wormby KaliComment by tootsweet: Cutsey shot. Not exactly snap-shot, but sort of candid. She is obviously having a really good time with this and it is a great public service announcement about the wonders of reading. I am just having a difficult time as seeing this as an environmental portrait. Art speaks differently to different people. |

Book Wormby KaliComment by bvy: A great pose and the set up is perfect. Would like to have seen better focus in her face. |

Book Wormby KaliComment by Dudski: Doesn't really catch my eye too much, but if I could offer some (hopefully) constructive comments: 1) Book worms are generally really into what they're reading (while as this girl isn't). So I would have had the model actually reading the book. 2) Because of the bright orange and high contrast with the other books, the Chronicles of Narnia book is really distracting and takes away from the shot, in my opinion. 3) I think a wider, more rectangular crop would have changed the feel of the shot in a positive way. |

Book Wormby KaliComment by snaffles: Now here's a bookworm! The focus is a bit soft and lighting's not in your favour but she reminds me of me at her age, buried in the library, though back then we didn't have Captain Underpants! 7 |
