Great photo. But the placement of the hands sorta weirds me out... what is that in the background...armpit or other joint? The right hand holding the bird should be a left hand...
I take it you had somebody else holding the bird than the background model. That's my only issue. The muted lighting works perfectly and sets the mood nicely.

Very unique and creative. The post processing was well done and very artistic.
Good work on the eye. Good you captured the texture of the face and did not lose it in processing.
I also think that the frame helped out quite a bit here hold the attention of the veiwer towrds the center. Where as without it, ones eyes would run up the arm and off the picture.

Very different from everything else. I almost didn't vote on this challenge, because I was expecting a lot of awesome and colorful pics that all looked the same after a while. Thank you for proving me wrong. A 10 and a fave for this
