that's pretty interesting. Has a very mystical vibe to it, that is only improved by the minimal lighting. Most of the focus seems to be on the hand and ball tho, which is good, but there seems to be a little more focus desired on the face. It seems you applied a bit of neat image to it to fix this tho. All in all, very nice and good luck:-)

WOW! My top pic of the challenge for sure. I really hope this one ribbons, everything about it is excellent - the lighting (use of shadow) and the expression is perfect - the subject looks very concentrated. The only thing that I don't like about this photo is the small reflection in the ball...but that's only minor...10

I think that the low-key approach works rather well here. I think, however, that it could benefit from a little extra sharpness around the eyes.
