Road safety -- did you lookby sn4psh07Comment by vtruan: Howdy from the Critiques Club:
First your was shot is somewhat iffy on meeting the challenge, but what the heck. If you'd show movement in the bus behind or another vehicle, no question to action. This may be one reason for lower marks by some.
The sign with the frost is nice. The photo maybe cropped a bit to tight to show good action of modifier (vehicle) behind the sign. Possibly having the sign somewhat more off centered would have had a bit more interest and lead the eye to the movement behind the sign.
Your dof and sharpness are good. I love your "Give Way" much better than our "Yield".
I hope this helps a bit. Keep shooting.

Infinite Chocolateby sn4psh07Comment by legalsteven: Beautifully lit. I love it. Or do I love the subject? Either way, you should go to prison for not inviting us to tidy-up your studio afterwards. |

Next years Christmas treeby sn4psh07Comment by ahaze: Technical: fits the challenge. Exposure composition focus lighting all good, though I wish the entire pine cone was in shot.
Personal: I like it! Nice photo.

Next years Christmas treeby sn4psh07Comment by HRoxas: Nice composition, great subject and the good use of dof. I also like the way you cropped the photo. The pine cone imo needs a little more light from the front to bring out the texture. |
