The sense of "moment" is present in this image and the obvious character being captured is intent on some activity. Technically and artistically, it seems a little dull which may be the lighting conditions in addition to being, well frankly uninteresting - a good suggestion would have been to add a little saturation to the image. It might also have helped to use a .2 neutral density filter in these lighting conditions to give the image some more color and "pop". A good entry into the challenge just lacking that something special to make it stand out.
