Flash cordon!by bcenuComment by pastortimmr: Great way to utilize pattern and shallow depth of field. I hope you got it in just a few takes- or else there could be a lot of matches used! I am always a fan of grainy shots- the wood looks fantastic and textured, and the grain in the first match head helps it look like it's just ready to explode. Nice touch with the border. It's a complete shot- can't really offer up any constructive criticism. |

Hearts on Fireby bcenuComment by Yo_Spiff: I see some grainy pixellation in the blue frames, and a mild lack of clarity. There may be a little extra JPEG compression taking away some detail. Your file size is only 82k and you could have used up to 200k for this challenge. Compression kills detail. Always use the least compression you can get away with and still come in under challenge limits. |

Morning teeby bcenuComment by LuckyShot: For a stock photo, i think it would have been better if there was a different background. I think it would be difficult dropping this image straight into a magazine. The concept of "morning tee" is very clever but without the title i wouldn't have gotten the message. |

Morning teeby bcenuComment by Nforsberg: I feel like I'm way to close to this guy. I think if the shot were a little more zoomed out and framed differenly I would feel more comfortable. |
