Checkmate!!!!by kengurinnComment by RiderGal: Hehehehe good job turning chess into a "real sport " ;-) Really funny idea with the sports towel and the gatorade. I would have cropped off a lot of the extraneous space at the top and maybe some of the left side? Fun though. |

Checkmate!!!!by kengurinnComment by smellyfish1002: Crack me up! I gave this a 10 for making me laugh out loud. Who's up for a little Full Contact Chess? This reminds me of the time I spent in Kansas with my cousins. They do everything full contact, basket ball, tennis, video games, dinner... You name it, it was fair game. I don't think I ever got a fat lip at dinner, except there with my cousins and uncle! The towel and Gatorade bottle, not to mention the "in your face" pose/expression are great! Nice work!

Checkmate!!!!by kengurinnComment by Koriyama: LOL. You've tried to address the challenge of action by putting a sports drink and a guy dressed in sports gear into your shot. Too much space at the top. Colours a bit bland. Oh, the fact that the king is down means that the opponent has resigned, not checkmate. |

Checkmate!!!!by kengurinnComment by ChrisW123: LOL, what's really funny about this is the Gatorade, towel, and how the player looks like he's sweating! Hahahaaa, great. But the pic itself needs better lighting, etc. Creative shot. 6. |

Checkmate!!!!by kengurinnComment by zeuszen: Persiflage. I commend the author of this image for submitting it, not because it's a technical powerhouse of a photo, but because it demonstrates a sharp sense of humour and a keen eye for that which makes it work.
The somewhat hapless composition and an, apparently, incidental -technique- give the impression of a snapshot taken for no other purpose as to make us laugh., at which task this capture exceeds. The range of the banter, however, is probably limited to the context of DPC.
I cannot help but laugh with it. > 6 |
