A rose is a rose is a rose...by robert ellisonComment by BobsterLobster: A very interesting shot... I like the philosophical slant to this one. The diagonal caused by the stem is very effective. My major gripe though is that the shot seems very noisy, and there seems to be an unattractive halo around the green leaves. I'm not sure about the negative space at the bottom of the shot. 6 |

Reflection of a roseby robert ellisonComment by Blinks: This is a very interesting picture. I like the idea, but I think it would have been a bit more effective with a completely black background. Also if there was an angle to take the picture to where you couldn't see the camera's reflection. All in all good job! 7 |

Reflection of a roseby robert ellisonComment by maranelloboy: It's a nice idea, and pretty nice looking. Just a suggestion; perhaps if you had hung a backdrop, like a white sheet behind the camera, there wouldn't be all the reflection from the room behind you. |
