Wow this is good. I took a photo of one of these assassin bugs attacking a pine bore in my pine tree. Your photo is way better than mine. My assassin bug was orange with black and white stripe legs. Bizarre creature. I just bought this lens and have been looking for this bug again to see if I could get a better shot. No such luck. Nicely done photo.

The character was popularized in a series of Where's Waldo books, where Waldo appears in very, very, very busy and colorful drawings that (usually) include lots of people dressed in colorful outfits.
