Family Treeby mischiefsgirlComment by Shaka: This is a pretty sweet tree! But the actual photo is a bit overexposed (especially in the upper right-hand corner), and a bit more color saturation would've been nice too. :) |

Cby mischiefsgirlComment by bassbone: the highly processed feel of this works really well with the hard edges of the "C" and the background - nice vision to give this a complete feel |

Cby mischiefsgirlComment by rinac: Back to comment: Unsure how to critique this since the choices you made with post processing here is likely in line with your own personal artistic taste. Not a bad thing though!, and it IS interesting (in a clipart sort of way), just doesn't particularly resonate with me.
I'd encourage you to keep exploring new ways to present your vision, even if you receive less than favourable review. Still is a pleasure to come across something a little different once in a while :) |

Love of the Vineby mischiefsgirlComment by bvy: It's not really the color that draws the viewer's attention, it's more the fact that the subject fills the frame. |

Love of the Vineby mischiefsgirlComment by Sachlichkeit: I'm guessing you used a flash, because the light is harsh and facing your camera. A good way to correct this is to use a diffusion filter over the flash, which provides a burst of light without the 'beam' that causes a blowout of your highlights. You can pay money for one, OR you can pick up a sample book of filters for FREE that literally has thousands of filters with descriptions of their use. Simply cut them out, and use them! You can even get an attachment that snaps onto your lens and lets you swap em out. You have to pay 5 bucks for that, but it's so worth it. |
