Ancient Predatorby wdammanComment by hiltonmd: I love the subject. Might be able to create a more dramatic impact with angle or cropping head and front leg. Also, a little under-exposure might bring out more detail in the ridges and scales. Nice work. |

Tranquilityby wdammanComment by lei_73: Wish gate was in focus and blurred bench on the background is even more tranquil. :-) |

Wuthering Heightsby wdammanComment by tnun: I wish I didn't feel this was an outbuilding in a park or an estate. overdone pp: the light and shadows might have been quite nice. 2 |

Wuthering Heightsby wdammanComment by vawendy: I have the same type of comment as I had on the other Wuthering Heights shot. Interesting building. But it doesn't evoke much of the emotion or feeling of the novel. On the plus side -- normally I don't like harsh shadows, but it works in this case to get some of the moodiness. But there's so much to this novel, I don't know that a building alone can really channel it. -6- |

Wuthering Heightsby wdammanComment by RyanW: i like the layers of contrast here, pleasant looking outside, veiled in shadows and with hints of more underneath.
a 7 from me |

Wuthering Heightsby wdammanComment by Cory: Sorta gets the right feeling, that unexpected, but almost tangible evil in the air.
Overall I don't really care for the processing (too soft) or the composition, but I think it fits well enough to merit a 6. |

Wuthering Heightsby wdammanComment by eniko: I like the mood of it, but somehow the setting lacks something, perhaps the great openness which should be around the house to give it a more apt Yorkshire moore setting. A 5 from me. |
