i love this as an image but, as a test of your photographic prowess at the time, let's talk about it. the color, form, action, comp are all exceptional qualities, your execution is very lame especially if this is going to be judged by dpc'er for a best of a year. This is all about criteria, if you entered it into a blur or even an action challenge you would be no where near a brown in fact for either of those challenges IMO you could receive numbers closer to ribbons. so, don't fret my friend i think this is an exceptional photograph. IMO this one is far superior than the other pixel mess.LOL

Paint horses are by far my favorites to look at with their natural contrasting hide (fur?). This has a fun sense of movement. :~)

Something about horses that really suits blur photography, doesn't it! Somehow, it makes them look more wild and illusive. I think this is beautiful.
