	Ancient Mountains by rodfulk Comment by hiltonmd: I love landscapes like this. I struggle with what I see in your photo and that is the need to under-expose to give depth and rich color during sunset/sunrise and sacrifice visible features in the foreground. It makes the photo look too much 2-dimensional. This is a nice attempt to strike balance.

	"Their Eyes Were Watching God" by Zora Neale Hurston by rodfulk Comment by posthumous: my first reaction is 'ugh, a picture of a sculpture' but then I saw the novel and I felt a connection there. Not just that, the title itself. Not only can't we see God, we can't see the eyes that are watching God. Only the tracks of their tears. 7

	"Their Eyes Were Watching God" by Zora Neale Hurston by rodfulk Comment by Cory: Given the strong racial content of the book, I think this image does a strangely good job of evoking the feel of the novel's subject. Composition isn't quite what I think I'd like - but it's generally quite good. 7
