hmmm...dont really know how to put this and make myself clear enough. i love the selective desat of these hotos but i think for the last two i would rather see the grass completly B&W with only the little girls dress in color like the first. i see a progression of the grass greener in each step and i like it just fine but would rather the 2nd 2 look more like the first. if i dont make sense just let me know and i will try to be clearer if i can. i love the comps of all 3 but i wish it was bigger to be able to see more detail..JMHO :o)

I like having the closeup central, really like the naturalness of the expressions and the desat works very nicely as well. Makes me truly wish I'd been this much into photography when my girls were this young.

Yah, you're right, it does start to bring attention to the hair. I think the problem in this case is just an unfortunate combination of things (for the photo on the right anyway). The small size doesn't allow a good sharpen for the way the hair is... at least that's what I'm seeing. Anyway, good stuff. I absolutely *adore* the one on the left, and would love to see it larger.
