Sunday Driveby menracComment by menrac: I want to thank you all for the nice comments, They are all very encouraging. As I said this was my first submission and I guess i have a ways to go. Next time I'll give it a bit more thought. FYI this is a 1978 MG Midget painted Pagent Blue. I mounted my tripod behind the seat and used the timer so that I could have my hands in view. I agree I shot the picture at too high a speed, It proablly would have looked better had I shown motion. I didn't want to go too far with my camera exposed like it was. BTW this is my wife's car, it's a bit too small for me (I'm 6') but its still a hoot to drive!! Thanks again. |

Sunday Driveby menracComment by albright1: AN MG! WOW! My dad restores MGs as his hobby, so the last 15 years of my life have been rich with conversations about different attributes of the different years. I drove a white 1980 for a while, until the engine caught fire one time too often... Needless to say, I feel a real connection to your photo! |

Sunday Driveby menracComment by karmat: A passenger would have made the picture more balanced for me, but then you would have had three people in a two-seater (at least all of the MG's I've ever seen were two seaters). I like the bright blue. |

Sunday Driveby menracComment by cvhs99: Neat that you got the man's reflection in the rear view mirror. If it had a bit of white, I'd say "got milk?" |

Sunday Driveby menracComment by jmsetzler: Is this car actually moving? if so, the fast shutter speed didn't allow any motion blur to enter into the image... i think a little motion blur in a shot like this would add a nice effect :) |
