This ties with one other shot for my absolute favorite this week. This shot is just fabulous. The building looks crooked to me, but I'm not sure that it is! The black and white is perfect for this shot, and this building looks absolutely charming. I would SO love to know where this is. I love your composition - I think that I would have taken a tight shot of just the building, leaving out the sidewalk, and I also think that it would have been a mistake to do that!! Adding the sidewalk really gives it a great sense of "place". Congrats, I would hang this on my walls in a heartbeat.

Good perspective, texture, shape and form, line ane even a little reflection all add up to a quality picture. One of the things I try and encourage my students to do is not shoot straight on at an image. If you you were to move a little to the left or right of the side walk it would add a little creativity to the work. JG
